Inclined Tulou in Fujian

Changyu Building, built in 1308 in Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), is the most ancient Tulou in the county of Nanjing, Fujian province, with a history of more than 700 years. It is well-known not only for its magnificent appearance against the quiet and natural surroundings, but because the building is inclined, with the largest angle at 15 degrees. Even so, the Tulou building still stands, despite the passing of time and countless earthquakes.
